Year 2001 represents a transition from the world of Preparation in to the real world of contribution. Year 1999-2000 was a milestone in the illustrious history of our School with the Introduction of XII Class in Science Stream. Each child is born with a Mission in his life and with special talents, which are peculiar to him. The purpose of Education is to transform the inborn potentiality in to an actuality. We have to conceive, plan, execute, organize and direct Various facts of school life and take them to culmination point. By the optimum use of the human material and Financial resources for the realization of goals. Our endeavor has always been to import all round development of Our students.

The year 2000-2001 was a year of achievements in many fields.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2000-2001:

1. Some of our students showed excellent performance in the central board of senior secondary education examination 1999 - 2000. The first rank goes to VIVEK VERMA per 81.4% and second rank goes to ANUJ CHATURVEDI per 80.8% .
2. In the central board of secondary education examination 1999 - 2000. The first rank goes to SWAGATA NEOGI per 82.8% and second rank goes to ARUN KHEMARIA per 82% Third rank goes to PRACHI SHRIVASTAVA per 81.6%.
3. We are proud of our students who achieved success in screening test of I IT 2000-2001 they are: a. Ku. Pragya Shrivastava, b. Ku.Shreya Shrivastava, c. Manish singal d. Mr.Varun Pratap e. Mr. Alok Nigam.
4. This year 134 students have appear in class XII board examination and 100 students in X board examination.
5. Many students have been selected in IIT, PMT, PET exam in the year 2000-2001 they are: a. IIT- VIVEK VERMA, b. PMT-GAJENDRA SINGH, VARUN PRATAP SINGH, c. PET - ASHWIN KHARE, VISHESH AGARWAL, GIRISH MITTAL, ANUJ CHATURVEDI, DEEPIKA AGARWAL, JAYDEEP AHUJA, KUNAL BHALLA.
6. Our school lays great stress in encouraging children to bring out their latent talents in the classroom as well as in the other activities in the school. Many children have participated in general knowledge, green Olympiad, Olympiad, M.B.D. talent tests, drawing, S.U,P.W competition etc.

ANNUAL FUNCTION

Annual function is celebrated along with the Durga Puja festival our students took part in different cultural and Traditional programms and performed their best . It was highly appreciated by the audience. Best actor award was given to ASHISH BHATTACHARYA.

ANNUAL SPORTS

Vivekanand jyanti is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm . Many sports events were conducted among different Schools . First rally was organized then inter school and inter college debate competition was held . Our students Won many prizes in them .

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

We try to set an example of excellence in academies, soundness in discipline and harmony in interpersonal relationship between students. Richa Rawat class VIII B a NCC cadet was selected for a national camp at Andaman Nicobar. She is the only girl candidate from Gwalior region at school level who has been selected for this camp. She received many prizes. We are proud of her. Two laurels of our school - Aditi Nigam X A and Astha nigam VI B many prizes in different competition held in Gwalior region by different organizations.

GAMES :-

When mind and body joins energies get chanelised into constructive, Productive and creative ends and Pursuit of goals become an act of worship, joy and bless for the students. Our school has participated in various team Games and our students have excelled in many of them.

EXCALIBUR :-

Our school is divided into four houses I. e. Sharda House, Vivekanand House, Tagore House and Shivaji House. Our House activities are conducted in third Saturday of every month .

Wall magzine competetion, solo dance, group dance, solo song, group song has been conducted.

This year also school organized science exhibition In various streams like physics, chemistry, biology, social - science and SUPW. Many projects and working models were presented by IX , X , XI & XII class Students. All visitors appreciated it .

Prizes were given for the out standing performance models and charts have been displayed in science room .

NCC NAVY AND AIR WING :-

Our school has all the three wing students participating And won many prizes. Activities like parade, shooting, quiz, debate, etc. They Have attended various camps held by NCC, NAVY AND AIR WING. Our NCC Officer Mr. Uma Pothook won the best shooting award. Now I must say work Harder smarter and life will offer whatever you want from it. You have to identify a purpose That inspires you challenges you and give you tremendous satisfaction to persue what is important is not your Existing knowledge alone but your ability to keep refreshing it dynamically. Actively search for opportunities and Grab them when you see them. Long ago. Learnt that future is not what you make of it. I hope you will be able apply My message in your lives for success and satisfaction. I look forward with hope and expectation that you will utilize Your talent in shaping Your destiny. The good will of the parents is our asset and their active co-operation in school programms help us to achieve our goals .

In conclusion :

Education is an intergrated and holistic Process. Limitations of educational process With in parameters of classrooms of textual material will defeat the broader aim's and objectives of education. Therefore Schools are desired to provide the necessary infrastructure, inputs and flexibility to facilitate the learners to develop academically, intellectually, physically and emotionally. It is well eccepted that no system of examination Conducted over a short a period will be able to asses the total personality of the Learner inclusive of his behavioral .

Constituted by Govt. of India during the last three decades have emphasized the need for continuous and comprehensive evaluation spread over a period of time. Keeping the objective in view we have designed a weighttage system. Accordingly we are announcing our result.
